Roast Beef Torta With Spicy Mayonnaise

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 (16 oz.) loaf French bread, sliced horizontally
  • 1 lb. thinly sliced roast beef
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) Sargento® Deli Style Sliced Sliced Swiss Cheese
  • 1/2 bunch arugula or lettuce
  • 1 avocado, peeled and sliced

Directions

  1. Combine mayonnaise, hot sauce and cilantro in small bowl.
  2. Remove some of the soft inner bread from loaf. Spread mayonnaise mixture generously on each cut-side of loaf.
  3. Layer roast beef over bottom half of bread; sprinkle with salt. Top with sliced cheese, arugula and avocado slices. Place top half of bread in place and press lightly to close sandwich. Cut into 3-inch portions to serve.
