  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes or pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
  • 2 (10 oz. each) 8-inch prepared pizza crusts
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 8 slices Sargento® Deli Style Sliced Provolone or Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil (optional)
  • 1 chopped tomato (optional)

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a small skillet over medium heat. Add garlic; cook 1 minute. Add spinach, basil, pepper flakes and, if desired, salt; cook 2 minutes more, stirring frequently.
  2. Arrange pizza crusts on baking sheet. Spread pizza sauce over crusts; top with spinach mixture and cheese. Bake in preheated 450°F oven 8 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
