Double Cheese Fondue
Ingredients
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 pkgs. (1.25 oz. each) white sauce mix
- 1-1/2 cups milk
- 2 tsp. prepared or Dijon mustard
- 2 cups (8 oz.) Sargento® Artisan Blends® Shredded Swiss Cheese
- 2 cups (8 oz.) Sargento® Fancy Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese or Sargento® Fancy Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1 loaf French bread, cut into 1-1/2-inch cubes
Directions
- Rub inside of fondue pot with garlic clove. Place sauce mix in pan; whisk in milk. Place over medium heat; bring to a simmer, whisking frequently.
- Reduce heat to low; whisk in mustard. Gradually add cheeses, whisking constantly, until cheese is melted. (Mixture will be very thick). Gradually whisk in wine. Serve with bread cubes for dipping.
