Swiss & Cheddar Baked Grits

  1. Cook grits in water according to package directions.
  2. Combine warm grits, butter, salt, pepper and garlic, if desired, in large saucepan; stir until butter is melted. Stir in 1 cup Cheddar cheese; let stand 15 minutes. Stir in eggs.
  3. Spoon half the mixture into greased 13x9-inch baking dish; sprinkle with Swiss cheese. Top with remaining mixture.
  4. Bake uncovered in 350°F oven 45 minutes; top with remaining Cheddar cheese. Return to oven, bake 10 minutes or until center is set and cheese is melted.
