Two Cheese SargentoBurger with Fruit Salsa
Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 4 slices Sargento® Deli Style Sliced Medium Cheddar Cheese
- 4 slices Sargento® Deli Style Sliced Colby-Jack Cheese
- 2 Tbsp. chopped pineapple
- 2 Tbsp. chopped mango
- 2 Tbsp. chopped green or red bell pepper
- 2 tsp. minced fresh cilantro
- 1 fresh lime, cut in half
- 4 jalapeño bagels, split
- 4 leaf lettuce leaves
- 1 avocado, peeled and sliced
Directions
- Shape ground beef into 4 patties, 4 inches in diameter and 1/2-inch thick. Preheat grill or broiler. Grill patties, 5 minutes per side or to desired doneness, adding one slice Cheddar and one slice Colby-Jack cheese during last minute of cooking.
- While burgers are cooking, make fruit salsa by combining pineapple, mango, bell pepper and cilantro in small bowl. Squeeze lime juice over mixture and stir gently.
- Grill or lightly toast bagels. Place burgers on bagels. Serve with fruit salsa, lettuce and avocado.
